I have loved sharing stories for as long as I can remember – from putting on puppet shows in the classroom as a nine year old, throughout my time at drama school and in my work as a children's oral storyteller. It has always been my privilege to connect with anyone and everyone through stories. I have a first class degree in Theatre Arts (Acting) from Manchester Metropolitan University and have worked in the performing arts industry ever since in TV, Radio, Theatre and Voice acting. I have trained with Dian Perry on Narration, Nic Redman on accents, Yvonne Morley on Character Voice and have done Johnny Heller's Audiobook Masterclass. I sight read every day and have a weekly audiobook working group. My absolute passion is stories and I have a storytelling business called Drama Llamas, which I have been running for over ten years. Writing and performing my own stories allows me to indulge my love of performance, stories and silly voices whenever I want!I'm an active soul who needs to be learning constantly and trying new things. Which is why I love reading so much, every book has something to teach you. Being outdoors in nature is really important to me - especially if I can swim in the sea or in local lakes, a good hit of cold water works wonders for the soul! Motorsport is a passion, I love F1 and when I get the chance l like to drive fast cars at high speed around tracks. It's not all adrenaline and cold water though, meditation and mindfulness feature strongly in my life. Along with baking, cooking, theatre and cinema trips. I love to travel and been to Australia, the US, Japan, Spain, Oman, France and Singapore. But my heart belongs to Italy and I am currently learning Italian. My happiest place of all is outdoors cycling on my bike. I use every opportunity I can to go exploring and, as I have no sense of direction, getting lost is just part of the fun.
